On May 26–28, 2026, the 48th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Fruit&Nut Ukraine 2026: Stone Fruits, Pome Fruits, and Nuts” will be held in Vinnytsia (Gostevia Hotel). The conference is dedicated to modern technologies for growing pome and stone fruit crops, nuts, as well as processing fruit and berry products and developing sales markets. The event is aimed at producers of apples, pears, sour cherries, sweet cherries, plums, peaches, berries, walnuts, hazelnuts, and other nut crops, as well as processing companies, traders, and businesses working with fruit raw materials. For many years, the conference has remained one of the most important professional events in the industry, bringing together farmers, orchard and berry farm owners, processors, researchers, and suppliers of technologies and equipment.
May 26 – Berry & Fruit Academy: orchard and berry plantation establishment and management, relevant varieties, and requirements of the processing industry.
May 27 – presentations by Ukrainian and international experts, case studies from Ukrainian farms, panel discussions, a technology and equipment exhibition, and product tastings.
May 28 – business tour to leading enterprises in the Vinnytsia region: TOV Dudikov and TOV Fruktona V.
Although the conference is now taking place under a new name, “Fruit&Nut Ukraine 2026: Stone Fruits, Pome Fruits, and Nuts” continues to be one of the most important and effective professional events in the industry.
The previous conference, was held in Ternopil in February and dedicated to controlled environment agriculture for fruits, berries, and vegetables, was truly large-scale. Around 450 participants from across Ukraine—from Kharkiv and Dnipro to Zakarpattia—took part. Following the event, organizers received numerous positive feedbacks from producers, who particularly highlighted the practical value of the presentations and the actionable solutions that could be immediately implemented in their operations.
Fruit&Nut Ukraine 2026 is an event after which participants return with new ideas, valuable contacts, and practical solutions for their businesses. The organizer is the media group “Technologies and Innovations.” The main information partners are the specialized industry magazines “Horticulture and Vegetable Growing. Technologies and Innovations” and “Berry Field.”
Since 2011, the team of the media group “Technologies and Innovations” has been publishing professional industry magazines: “Horticulture and Vegetable Growing. Technologies and Innovations,” “Berry Field,” “Nut Wood,” and “Drinks / Beer. Technologies and Innovations.” These publications are read by farmers, farm managers, technologists, researchers, and processors across the country. Through conferences, business tours, educational programs, and information platforms, the media group builds a professional community that drives the development of Ukraine’s fruit and berry industry.
Berry & Fruit Academy — how to plant an orchard without mistakes
On May 26, as part of the forum, the Berry & Fruit Academy will take place for the third time — an academy of modern fruit and berry farming.
This year, the Academy is primarily aimed at those who are planning to establish a new orchard or berry plantation and want to do it thoughtfully — avoiding costly mistakes and taking into account modern market requirements.
Participants will gain practical knowledge about current apple, pear, cherry and sweet cherry varieties, the peculiarities of planting and managing intensive orchards, as well as the production of berries suitable for processing and freezing. Special attention will be paid to the requirements of the processing industry for fruit raw materials and crops that have the best prospects for processing and export.
The Academy was created as a practical school of modern horticulture, where leading Ukrainian and international experts share real experience, combining it with modern scientific achievements to help producers build an effective and sustainable business.
Conference day and exhibition of technologies, equipment
The main part of the conference will take place on May 27, during which participants will hear speeches by international experts, practical cases of Ukrainian farms and take part in panel discussions.
During the conference, experts will focus on key areas of development of modern horticulture. The topic will be dedicated the creation and effective management of intensive pome orchards - new varieties and rootstocks, orchard formation systems, the use of digital technologies, precision horticulture, robotics and the use of drones, as well as the possibilities of reducing production costs.
Special attention is paid to stone crops: modern cherry, plum and peach orchards, selection of varieties for the fresh market and processing, growing high-quality fruits and protecting plantations from weather risks.
The development of the nut business will also be discussed - the economics of industrial walnut and hazelnut orchards, modern growing technologies, mechanization of harvesting and market prospects.
A significant part of the discussions will be devoted to the production of fruits and berries for processing, in particular for IQF freezing, modern processing technologies, the requirements of the food industry for raw materials and the creation of new products.
A separate block will consider financing the horticulture industry - grant programs, opportunities for lending to agrarian businesses, attracting investments in planting orchards and the economics of modern horticulture.
Tastings, exhibition and live professional communication
During the conference, an exhibition of modern technologies and equipment for horticulture, viticulture berry and nut growing will be open, where participants will be able to get to know more about innovative solutions for their farms.
A separate highlight of the event will be the public exhibition-tasting of processed products: guests will have the opportunity to taste a variety of fruit and berry products - from frozen fruits and juices to jams, desserts and dried fruits, as well as see how modern raw materials and ingredients for the food industry look like.
Traditionally, there will be a wine tasting from the wine partners of the conference, and the day will end with a friendly dinner among participants and partners - an informal atmosphere where new business projects and partnerships are often born.
Charity auction in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
An important tradition of conferences is a charity auction in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Every year, participants actively participate in fundraising, and thanks to joint efforts, significant amounts of aid are transferred to the Ukrainian military.
Business tour: from the orchard to processing
On May 28, participants will be able to take part in a business tour to leading enterprises of the Vinnytsia region.
The program includes a visit to a modern horticultural farm with intensive orchards and a fruit processing enterprise - TOV "Dudikov" and TOV "Fruktona VN".
