The next International conference dedicated to horticulture and processing industries, "Technologies & innovations: From The Land – To The Finished Product. Pome Fruits" will take place on October 28-29, in Vinnytsia.

The event will be consists of:
October 28 - plenary part of the conference "Technologies & innovations: From The Land – To The Finished Product. Pome Fruits" includes speeches of Ukrainian and foreign experts and practitioners, exhibition of equipment, techniques and technologies in horticulture and exhibition-tasting of horticultural and processing products, public tasting of juices, festive buffet.
October 29 - Business tour to the leading horticultural and processing enterprises of Ukraine - "Agrokalyna Fruits" and "Fruktona VN".
The conference purpose is unchanged: popularization and implementation of current technologies for growing and processing fruits and berries, assistance in the revival of traditional Ukrainian drinks based on fruits, berries, mead, including the production of the value - added products.
Actual, hot topics, innovations, new business solutions, presentations from Ukrainian and European manufacturers, experts and practitioners of the industry will be waiting on the participants. Moreover, this event will become the foremost platform for exchanging ideas and joining all industry players!
According to tradition, the conference program includes key parts:
- Roundtable and discussion of industry issues, and ways of their solving.
- Current technologies in cultivation and running a successful horticultural business from Ukrainian and foreign experts and practitioners
- Processing and storage of fruits and berries: technologies and innovations also from Ukrainian and foreign experts and practitioners. Within the conference will take place a Public Tasting of berry and fruit juices. Moreover, within the conference, presentation, and tasting of products made on the basis of fruits, berries, and nuts, including with adding of honey: candies, dried fruits, chips, frozen products, jams, as well as beverages: wine, liqueurs, ciders, syrups, spirits, etc.
Traditionally, during the conference day, an exhibition of equipment, machinery, and technologies from Ukrainian and foreign companies will be introduced as well.
On October 29, the conference participants will be able to take part in the business tour to the leading horticultural and processing enterprises of Ukraine - "Fructona VN" and "Agrokalyna Fruits".
Company Fruktona VN is an enterprise specializing in freezing fruit and berry products using innovative equipment. The capacity of enterprise lines: strawberries - 4 tons per hour; cherries - 2,800–3 tons per hour; blueberries, elderberries, currants (soft berries) - 3.5 tons per hour; sea buckthorn - 3–3.5 tons per hour. You can find the products of Fruktona-VN both frozen in packages on the supermarket shelf and in the dairy products. So, when we buy yogurt with pieces of fresh berries, these berries can be from the enterprise Fruktona-VN. Firstly, to get into the yogurt, these berries got to the milk processing plant due to the shock freezing and after passing all inspections with keeping all requirements.
Year after year, the key vector in the company "Frukt VN" development is product quality and providing service quality. First of all, it helps to develop the whole industry according to European vector and helps for the international -market entry including berry sale on the domestic market, and berry storage with obtaining maximum profitability.
"Agrokalyna Fruits" is a young horticultural farm, which grows 6 hectares of Noyabrskaya and Yablunivska pear varieties. The first landing was made in 2019. Now the trees give only a signal harvest. This year the farm plans to plant another 8 hectares of pears. Pears are grown on wallpaper. Also in the garden there is an anti-hail net, drip irrigation system. Farm managers present to business participants how to lay a pear orchard from scratch and what pitfalls novice gardeners have to deal with.
Also, business participants will get acquainted with the work of the plant of machinery "Agromash Kalyna" (TM "Agrokalyna"), which manufactures tillage, sowing equipment and serially - machines for garden cultivation. The company offers equipment designed for cultivation of crops at different stages of growth.
