The International conference "Berries and Processing: Technologies and Innovations" become a traditional event from the media group "Technologies and Innovations" that brings together a record number of visitors every year. By tradition, a large-scale exhibition of European and Ukrainian companies with introducing of equipment, machinery and technologies will be delivered during the conference day.
In addition, within the conference - presentation and tasting of the production based on fruits, berries, with adding of honey, different kinds of candies, dried fruits, chips, jams, as well as frozen products and beverages (wines, liquors, ciders, syrups, spirits, etc.)

On December 10, the conference participants will be able to take part in the business tour to the leading berry and processing enterprises of Ukraine, in particular, LLC Nikdaria (iBerry TM) and Agricultural Cooperative Yahidky (TM Big BLUE)
The 2nd conference day, a business tour to the leading berry and processing enterprises:
An enterprise Nikdaria (TM iBerry) is located in the village Rakovychi, Zhytomyr region, Radomyshel district, and is in TOP-5 berry farms and is the most developed farm in innovations in Ukraine. Thus, the enterprise has more than 160 hectares, the main part of the area is occupied by highbush blueberries, and 15 hectares for growing green asparagus, hascap berry, and strawberry.
All operating process of this enterprise are automated and uses only advanced world famous technologies, in particular, automated irrigation system, berry refrigerator (which is the only one such kind in Ukraine for 2021) with automated system of intensive cooling and storage of fresh berries, as well as current sorting line Unitec and automated packaging line Sorma. The exception is only the manual harvesting of berries and asparagus, which together with the technology of post-harvest automated sorting and packaging ensures the highest quality for the final product. The product quality is annually confirmed by the international certificates Global GAP and GRASP.
Agricultural Cooperative Yahidky (TM Big BLUE) is located in the village Khmilna, Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi district, Kyiv region. This organic farm was established in 2016 near Kyiv, and the total area of the plantation is about 55 hectares being an organic producer of highbush blueberries and certified by Organic Standard and GlobalG.A.P. The main aim is growing high-quality, organic products, using the world`s best practices and high quality standards and social responsibility to be in compliance with food safety protocol Global G.A.P.
The farm Big Blue grows now 5 varieties of highbush blueberries that provide harvesting from the end of June and to the middle of September, such varieties as Duke, Bluecrop, Nelson, Chandler, Eliot. This year, farm grew and quickly sold out seedlings of licensed highbush blueberry varieties. Thus, this fall, they are going to accept orders for new seedlings to be sold in the next spring. And this year the farm together with partners are going to launch a new project for the production of confiture to be introduced by new product on the shelves of one of the retail chains. The founder and head of the farm Oleh Naumenko will share with business participants his successful experience of berry business and tell about the pitfalls that can await berry growers in this area.
Our conference participants are farm owners/ managers and main agronomists of berry and horticultural farms, managers and chief specialists of freezing complexes and processing plants, producers of juices, wines, berry-based spirits, beginners -farmers and all those who want to start a successful business, related with berry growing.
The final highlight of the conference day will be a festive buffet and entertainment program with the participation of folk groups. Dress code: embroidered shirts or clothes.
