An international charity conference for grape growers and winemakers will be held in Uzhgorod on December 15-16. We invite you to participate!

On December 15-16, 2022, in Uzhgorod, in the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, the IV International Charitable Scientific and Practical Conference Viticulture and winemaking of Ukraine under martial law: learning to win! will be held. Picturesque Transcarpathia, a wine region since ancient times, will welcome everyone who wants to develop the wine industry and show that Ukrainian winemaking is worthy of world recognition. The participants of the event will discuss the issues of effective care for vineyards, modern technologies in winemaking and production of cognac, grappa, chacha and other drinks and products from grapes. As part of the conference, a charity auction of goods and services for viticulture and winemaking will be held, the funds from which will be directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, to purchase winter ammunition and medicines.
The organizer of the conference is the Technologies and Innovations media group.
The conference will be held with the support of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the Association of Grape Growers, Winemakers and Distillers of Transcarpathia, the State Enterprise UKRSADVYNPROM, the Ukrsadprom Association, and the Ukrvynprom Corporation.
Scientific patronage is carried out by Odesa National University of Technology, Uzhgorod National University (Department of Fruits and Vegetables and Viticulture), National Research Center Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking named after V. E. Tairov National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The charity auction will be held with the support of the Strong and Free Charitable Foundation.
The key idea of the conference is to use the example of successful winemaking companies and farms of Transcarpathia and Ukraine to demonstrate to Ukrainian wine and other beverage producers how even in wartime to create and develop a successful viticulture and winemaking business, to popularize the latest technologies for growing and processing grapes from the ground to the finished product - wine and other drinks from grapes.
The conference program is designed for 2 days:
December 15 is a conference day, during which Ukrainian and foreign experts, representatives of leading winemaking technology companies, scientists, winegrowers and practicing winemakers will speak. Speakers will share successful experience of growing technical and table grapes, tell about the situation in Ukrainian viticulture, outline the main problems and ways to solve them.
At the beginning of the conference day, there will be a round table discussion on the key topic Ukrainian viticulture and winemaking under martial law: learning to win!. Managers of wine and grape enterprises, representatives of industry associations, and scientists will take part in the discussion.
In parallel with the plenary session, there will be an exhibition of equipment and materials for the production of wines and cognacs, as well as technologies for growing table and technical grapes, and a presentation of new grape varieties. Also, as part of the event, there will be an exhibition of the products of viticulture and winemaking enterprises.
During the conference day, there will be a presentation of wines and other drinks from Ukrainian producers. Conference participants will be able to discover and taste new quality wines.
December 16 – a business tour to the viticulture and winemaking enterprises of Transcarpathia with tasting and presentation of new technologies for winemaking and viticulture.
