We gladly invite you to visit our International scientific and practical Conference "Technologies and Innovations: From The Land – To the Finished Product & Stone Fruits", to be held on June 10-11, 2021.

The Sherwood hotel and Restaurant Complex will host this year’s horticultural conference to bring together conference participants, and all who are involved and interested in horticultural business.

The conference organizer is the media group "Technologies and Innovations", publisher of industry journals: "Horticulture and Viticulture, Drinks. T.I., Nut Wood, Berry Field, Beer Technologies.  Let`s remind you, this horticultural conference will last two days.

The first day, June 10 - plenary part of the conference.

The program of the event includes speeches by heads of horticultural farms, scientists, market experts, and representatives of technological companies. According to our tradition, we are glad to represent an exhibition of equipment, machinery, and technologies from Ukrainian and foreign companies during the conference day. Additionally, a presentation and tasting of products, based on fruits, berries, and nuts, including adding honey: candies, dried fruits, chips, frozen foods, jams will be introduced as well. Moreover, according to the tradition of events from the media group "Technologies and Innovations", there will be a presentation of beverages made based on fruits and berries: wines, liquors, traditional nalyvkas, ciders, syrups, spirits, etc. An exhibition of current equipment is going to be held in the yard of the Uman National University of Horticulture.
It should be noted, a festive buffet with the participation of a famous musical group will take place at the end of the first conference day.

The second conference day June 11 includes a business tour to the demo field of Uman National University of Horticulture and the leading horticultural enterprises of this region such as TOV "Uman Fruit Company" and farm "Bioproduct". T

he business tour is conducting with the reason of the demonstration conditions under which well-known Ukrainian horticultural scientists conduct experiments at the demo field of the Uman National University of Horticulture. Every participant will be able to get closer to the world of horticultural science and see how scientists breed new varieties of horticultural crops, test new plant protection preparations, and so on.

The "Uman Fruit Company" is well -known an enterprise for our readers of the journal "Horticulture and Viticulture. Technologies and Innovations". In 2017, the company launched a new intensive project of planting a sweet cherry orchard, aimed at the growing of sweet cherries of European varieties for export. Today, the Uman Fruit Company grows different sweet cherry varieties on 17 hectares. The best practices in growing sweet cherries here are adopted from advanced Dutch, German and Swiss farms because these European countries use the latest technologies for growing this berry crop. The company uses high-quality planting material from advanced European nurseries. The care of the orchard is also guided by European specialists. Additionally, at the beginning of the 2020 season, Uman Fruit Company launched berry cooling. For this reason, a refrigerator with a capacity of 20-ton for cooling and storage berries has been bought.

During the business tour, the conference participants will be able to see directly how this large-scale enterprise works, get acquainted with the advanced technologies of growing horticultural crops not from the pages of the journal but during a direct communication with the enterprise owners.

"Bioproduct" is also well- known company for the readers of our journal "Horticulture and Viticulture. I.T". This is another advanced horticultural farm located in Uman, there are a great number of horticultural crops are growing. The range of varieties is wide including apples, pears, cherries, plums, and more. The orchard is occupied 30 hectares of land. However, the farm is going to expand the orchard plantation additionally to 10 hectares.

Moreover, the farm also grows 20 hectares of nuts. Raspberries are also presented as a berry crop. To grow all these horticultural crops use different planting schemes to achieve a high level of yield. Particular attention is paid to the quality of planting material, so the plantations include seedlings from well-known Dutch nurseries.

The company introduces innovative technological solutions for plant care, including a drip irrigation system and pear support system, etc. Conference participants will be able to learn the successful experience of running the horticultural process through direct communication with the owners of the company "Bioproduct".

In the demo field of Uman National University of Horticulture participants of the conference will learn how scientists breed new varieties of horticultural crops, how to test new remedies, and so on.

Guests are accommodated by local Uman hotels - REIKARTZ AQUADAR, Park-Hotel, hotel and restaurant complex "Zastava", FOREST CLUB SHERWOOD, hotel "Uman Plaza", recreation complex "Gontiv Yar", Hotel Palace, hotel "Uman".

The purpose of the conference remains unchanged - popularization and put into action current technologies for growing and processing fruits, promoting the revival of traditional Ukrainian beverages based on fruits, berries, honey, and the production of value-added products.

The participants of the conference will immerse into the current topics, get acquainted with innovative business solutions, including presentations from Ukrainian and European manufacturers, experts, and branch practitioners. Traditionally, this event will be the main platform for exchanging ideas and combine all players of this market!

It should be noted that the V International Conference "Technologies and Innovations: From The Land To The Finished Product" brought together on October 22-23, 2020 in Lviv more than 280 participants from all over Ukraine, as well as from Italy, Poland, Belarus, and others.

In general, the media group "Technologies and Innovations" started organizing conferences in 2016. For today, almost 30 large-scale events have been held, each time such event brought together about 300 participants not only from Ukraine but also from Europe. More than 50 leading companies from all over Ukraine, as well as from Poland, Italy, Belarus and others take part in the exhibitions of advanced technologies, which traditionally take place at conferences.
