All-Ukrainian scientific practical conference «Successful viticulture in Ukraine - 2016»

As part of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Successful Viticulture in Ukraine - 2016" winegrowers and winemakers, together with representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Institute of viticulture and winemaking named after V. Tairov, industry associations and NGOs will develop a strategy to solve existing problems and outline the ways of successful development of the industry. In the first discussion panel of the conference both managers of large wineries and small and medium companies will voice their offers. As a result of the discussion the Final document will be prepared , it will have to be taken to note of authority structures.

In the second discussion block it will be said about the land market in Ukraine and solving of the problems of land use associated with obtaining ownership and lease of land under vineyards. In addition, participants will discuss Vine Cadastre of Ukraine, the results of the last season of 2015, innovations in the vineyards care and exchange experience in implementing organic viticulture in Ukraine. A number of reports will focus on the development of the industry in the context of the entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

There will also be a round table "Trademarks and Geographical Indications as the Tool for Promoting Wine Products to the European Market." Reputable experts in the field of intellectual property protection will talk about how to use the geographical names of products and the creation of controlled wine of origin and so forth.

Business program of the conference will be completed by the presentation of Ukrainian wines. Products for tasting will be offered by House of vintage cognacs "Tavria", the Odessa factory of Sparkling Wines, the winery "Kurin", the company "Vintrest", NSC "Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking named after V. Tairov", Bolgrad winery, TM" Inkerman ", Winegrowers Association of Transcarpathia, Valery and Svetlana Petrov - producers of organic wines from the Odessa area, as well as Guild of Mead-Brewers of Ukraine.
