IV International Conference "Technologies and Innovations: From Land - to the Finished Product" will be held on March 21-22, 2019 in Cherkasy. The two-day event will bring together all the players of this market at one venue with the aim of effectively together develop the horticultural industry and provide the keys to a successful fruit business. The conference thematic will cover all aspects of the horticultural business, from the orchard creation to sales, marketing, and export. One of the main topics will become storage and sorting as an integral component of global market competitiveness. Thus, opportunities in this direction will be introduced by the company Insolar-Kholod during the conference day and business tour to the Agroindustrial enterprise MAIS.

Today, the struggle for the product quality and the possibility of year-round product supplies comes to the fore; by doing so, profitable business in a fruit area is impossible without industrial cooling and sorting. Additionally, trade networks require the supply of products of different varieties, evenly in amount. And, such possibility is provided a storage facility with a gas environment. Additionally, this large-scale complex satisfies all requirements in impermeability and software. It includes the latest technological equipment, in particular, Dutch gas equipment and cooling equipment from Germany and Italy.

The process of storage is carried out in 27 refrigerating chambers with a regulated gas environment. Thus, the system allows storing apples, pears, citrus fruits from the harvest to harvest. The Dutch sorting line GREEFA with the total capacity of 5 tons of apples per hour has been installed there. Moreover, there is a refrigerator with different types of chambers having 9 tiers of storage, equipped with ultrasonic moisturizers that allow keeping moisture at 98%.
